Working with Architects forms an integral part of our work base. We produce specific working production drawings when information provided requires further specialist design input. This may involve timber selection and suggested detailing methods that may be beneficial to consider. When required we can provide appropriate scaled drawings of our work for statutory submissions.

We have undertaken numerous barn conversions over the years and in so doing designed complete joinery schemes to fit within required budgets with many interesting architectural features that fit in with their respective surroundings.

On new builds and extensions we have often been asked to undertake important and significant aspects of architectural joinery for clients.

Simplicity is often the best solution as over-elaborated details can appear overpowering and difficult to scale up and down. A well designed panel with a simple bead provides a beautiful breakpoint for movement and has the advantage that intermediate flat panels can be equalised across runs but also with a logic that can be applied to the whole.
